£6.90£26.00

Origin: Colombia, Java, Guatemala
Process: Washed & Natural
Altitude: 1600 – 2000m
Harvest: June-December
Flavour: Bright, buttery, sweet

Some time ago we were asked to come up with a coffee to celebrate the Dandie Dinmont Terriers which were bred just down the road from us at the Haining in Selkirk. These gentlemen of the terrier family are known to be tenacious, affectionate and independent. It had taken us a while to finalise the blend (our brief was to come up with a something that embodied the unique. characteristics of the breed) We feel that the smooth buttery notes of the Java combined with the bright acidity of the Guatemala and sweetness of the Colombia does just that.

It’s important to order the right grind for the way you make your coffee:

Whole beans – for those with a grinder.

Coarse – for making in a cafetiere, use water just below boiling and leave for four minutes.

Medium – for making in a drip machine.

Fine – for espresso and aeropress.
